Green Dot’s Teacher Induction Program is designed to provide a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support and professional learning. Our program supports our teachers through development and growth in the teaching profession by designing and implementing a robust mentoring system to help candidates meet the CSTPs, resulting in a recommendation for a clear credential.

Teachers in Green Dot's Induction program have access to professional development materials and resources that are aligned with the College Ready Teacher Framework and the California Standards for the Teaching Profession.
Individual Coaching and Mentoring
Green Dot believes that individual instruction is not only essential for our students, but for our teachers as well. Each teacher in the Induction program is partnered with a highly qualified mentor to help them cultivate their practice.
Green Dot's Teacher Induction program is a two-year, reimbursable, tuition-based program at the cost of $2300/year for a total cost of $4600. You will be refunded the full cost of the program if you continue to work for GDPSC for three years after completion of the Induction Program. Enrollees also have the option to purchase graduate-level professional development units which can be applied to the salary schedule.
