Become a teacher through the  Masters and Teaching Credential Program

Through the Adelante program, you will earn your Masters in Education AND single subject teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University in as little as two years!

What is Adelante?

Adelante is a partnership credentialing program between Green Dot and Loyola Marymount University. Adelante fellows work as full-time teachers at a Green Dot school while taking the required university coursework to earn a credential and obtain a masters degree. While at a Green Dot school, fellows receive comprehensive supports to help ease their transition into teaching. Green Dot partners with Loyola Marymount to design the experience of Adelante fellows and to ensure they receive the training they need to become the next generation of teacher leaders.

Adelante is a highly competitive cohort based program. People accepted into the program must meet the program’s requirements prior to beginning the pre-service requirement in the summer.
